Chaetasterina gracilis

Taxonomy
Chaetasterina gracilis was named by Hess (1970). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Naturhistorisches Museum Basel, Hess collection, Holotype A94. Its type locality is Pierre-Jaune, Hauterivian, St. Blaise, which is in a Hauterivian shallow subtidal grainstone/marl in the Pierre jaune Formation of Switzerland. It is the type species of Chaetasterina. It was considered monophyletic by Hess (1970).
