Stratigraphy
Formation:Kul'bich
Stratigraphic resolution:formation
Stratigraphy comments: Unfortunately, the localities are not designated as either terrigenous or calcareous terrigenous ""types"". Only vague lithologies can be inferred and ""types"" inferred through the biozone descriptions. If the lithology is the terrigenous type, the formation is Tandoshinskaya, if the lithology is calcareous-terrigenous type, the formation is either Yelandin or Bol'sheishin. PJW: reticulatus zone here now is the Kul'bich formation.
Lithology and environment
Primary lithology: lithified "limestone"
Lithology description: limestone
Environment:carbonate indet.
Taphonomy
Modes of preservation:body
Size of fossils:macrofossils
Collection methods and comments
Collection excludes:some genera,some macrofossils
Collection methods:field collection
Reason for describing collection:taxonomic analysis
Collection method comments: Does not include all of the polymeroid trilobites.
Taxonomic list comments:List does not include brachiopods or hyoliths which may occur rarely in the sections.
