Lithology and environment
Lithology description: ""..the reef core built prevalently of calcareous algae, stromatoporoids, specialized wave-resistant crinoids, and corals, triblobite exoskeletons are contained in lense-like accumulations attaining a thickness of up to 1-2m and traceable for several meters. A layer of brownish microsparite contains the blind trilobite Eodrevermannia sirax, and a white micrite layer contains denemarkia fromtalis with supressed eyes ... these indicate a special light deficient environment in open sedimentary dykes or cavities protected from the coarser bioclastic influx.""
Environment:reef, buildup or bioherm Tectonic setting:foreland basin
