Lithology and environment
Environment:terrestrial indet.
Geology comments: "...Sala Beds, formed as an alluvial fill of a basin cut into deformed Paleozoic strata at the edge of the eastern Andean Cordillera of northern Bolivia." Open semiarid environment inferred based on high percentage of grazers and pedogenic carbonate (calcrete) paleosols.
