Stratigraphy comments: Wolfcamp (upper, lowest beds above basal conglomerate) [= Lenox Hills Formation] according to Cooper & Grant 1977. Dunbar & Skinner (1937) placed in Gaptank Formation on the basis of the fusulinid Triticites cullomensis, consistent with the stratigraphy of that species in Ross (1963).
