AGE: Burdigalian, on the basis of macrofaunal composition; direct age established by extrapolation of Sr-isotope dating by enterer. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From the upper section of Jimol Formation; same horizon as STRI Loc. 290376; from 49 m below Jimol/Castilletes contact. | |||||
