Taxonomic list comments:The associated brachiopod assemblage contains abundant Stegocornu procerum, and less common Eoplectodonta, Katastrophomena, Leptaena, Dolerorthis, Glyptorthis, Hesperorthis, Dicoelosia, Gotatrypa and Lissatrypa, thus showing close similarity to the fauna from the Qarabil Limestone (Cocks 1979),
