Stratigraphy comments: Faunal reported from 0-12.5 m below top of unit, Upper Menevian beds, type section of the Menevian Group, P. punctuosus zone. Locality 2 is on the western cliff section, at approximately the same horizon as locality 1, the type section on the eastern cliff. PJW: This was Menevian group, but this is now the middle member of the Menevia formation within the Porth-y-rhaw group (Fletcher 2017). |
