Lithology and environment
Primary lithology: lithified floatstone
Lithology description: Rudaceous biomicrite with abundant lenses of biocalcarenite. The corals do not occur randomly but are normally concentrated in relatively small areas which may or may not have a relative relief up to 3 feet with surrounding exposures. These concentrations are interpreted as representing small patch reefs developed locally on the platform.
Environment:reef, buildup or bioherm
