Stratigraphy comments: The strata here are not well mapped, but the shales can be assigned to the Haslam Formation, based on the fauna. The presence of E. elongatum at this locality, in association with Sphenoceramus elegans and Hauericeras gardeni, suggests the locality to represent the transition from the E. elongatum Zone below to the S. schmidti Zone above.
