Secondary lithology: grainstone

Lithology description: "Occurs in finely laminated and lenticular-laminated wackestones and grainstones, with small rugosan biostromes..."
Environment:reef, buildup or bioherm
Geology comments: "...rugosan biostromes built chiefly of E. polymorphum and N. coronifera. As a rule the fossils occur in life position, partly as local disturbed assemblages accumulated on the carbonate sediments, in association with other rapidly varying life assemblages. This is a BA 3 moderate diversity community. All the fossils occur within the same patches in the mosaic. It should be noted here that the Didymothyris Community and ostracode communities occur mainly at the edges of rugosan biostromes and are also found as discrete patches between biostromes."
