Primary lithology:desiccation cracks,red mudstone

Lithology description: Red lumpy mudrocks. Some of the beds are mottled light maroon and apple green. Bedding in the upper 8 to 12 feet is straticulate, and mudcracks are abundant. Desiccation of the sediment soon after its deposition produced hexagonal jointing, causing the mucrock to weather into columns.
