Primary lithology:shelly/skeletal lithified claystone
Lithology description: In this part of the Jurensismergel (jurensemarl) the quite fast and constant sedimentation is characterized by mostly strong Bositra-accumulations. The high content of lime results in so called Tutenmergel layers and lenses. Lime and pyrite nodules are less common in this part.
