Lithology description: Hard blue-gray cherty limestone with many fossils (from section description, p. 11). Shale with interbedded limestone layers, which occur only near Cerro Prieto Sur. Beds 9 to 14 (From a general stratigraphy table, Fig. 3, p. 19).
