Stratigraphy comments: STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: Derived from "Formation A" (Golden Bay Group, undifferentiated upper part) is the youngest of the beds mapped in this region, overlying Member 3 of the Slaty Creek Formation. THICKNESS: Minimum thickness of 600 m, maximum of no more than 1000 m. AGE: "Formation A" contains graptolites representing the the Zone of Dicellograptus, of lower Gisbornian age. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From upper part of formation.

This is now Douglas Formation (PJW 2016/12/17)
