Local section:LM 86-1 Local bed:286.4 m
Local order:bottom to top
Stratigraphic resolution:bed
Stratigraphy comments: STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From Telm 7 of the La Meseta Fm, which overlies the Cross Valley Fm and is unconformably overlain by Quaternary deposits. THICKNESS: Between 286.4-289.1 m within 294 m thick section. AGE: Late Eocene (Bartonian-Priabonian). Upper parts of Telm 7 could be of Early Oligocene age as discussed by Stilwell and Zinsmeister 1992 (p. 20), though placed in the Late Eocene by those authors. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: At 286 m, near top of section.
