Stratigraphic resolution:formation
Lithology and environment
Primary lithology:green poorly lithified argillaceous, silty "shale"
Lithology description: Greenish clayey shale bearing a silty and sandy admixture in some layers
Environment:offshore shelf
Geology comments: The "bimodal" mixture of sand and shale may indicate proximity to shoreline, in which case this may be too shallow for inclusion, but presence of silt and confinement of clastics to distinct layers argues against this; "deeper water environment affected by ... fluxoturbidites"
