Stratigraphy comments: STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Okaloacoochee Mbr of the Fort Thompson Fm, which is overlain by the Coffee Mill Hammock Mbr. Correlative with the Canepatch Fm. THICKNESS: Varies between 1 and 4 m across areal extent. AGE: Late Pleistocene. Based on uranium isotope dating (Lyons, 1991, p. 160) the unit is dated as mid-late Illinoian. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Checklist representative of entire member.
