The upper unit is a small, crudely lenticular, crinoidal debris bank (Tyler, J. H., unpublished Ph.D. thesis, University of Michigan, 1963) which contains a rich and varied fauna with numerous species of gastropods, most of which have not been reported from correlative Centerfieldian units elsewhere.
