| Stratigraphy comments: “Fm.” Arroyo Seco, Piso/Edad Bonaerense (Pleistoceno Medio). This “unit” would correspond at least in part to the Middle Pleistocene (Floor / Buenos Aires Age; J. Kraglievich, 1952). This unit was also defined and characterized by Kraglievich (1952), it can be found deposited on different "formations" in other sectors of the region, but in Punta San Andrés its presence is corroborated in disagreement on the "Fm." Miramar. |
