Collection methods and comments
Reason for describing collection:general faunal/floral analysis
Collectors:W. A. Macfadyen, J. A. Hunt Collection dates:1928 - 1930
Collection method comments: JA: all material is apparently in the Sedgwick Museum; collection info is from Walker 1966
Taxonomic list comments:JA: collections 49873, 51582, 81761 appear to be identical because (for example) Podocnemis somaliensis is said to be from "Lower half of the Nautilus Beds" at the "Bijo Gora River" (like 49873 and 81761, which have the same coordinate) and from the "Lower Daban Series... some 25 km. ESE of Berbera" (like 51582, which has a guesstimated coordinate); the only possible difference is that P. somaliensis has a slightly different reported coordinate of 10º22' N, 45º14' E
