Stratigraphy
Stratigraphic resolution:group of beds
Stratigraphy comments: Undivided Siegenian, but probably Pragian according to Poschmann & Dunlop, 2011. According to Poschmann, "A lower Siegenian to lower middle Siegenian age, stratigraphically below the ‘classical’ Seifen fauna (cf. Drevermann 1904; Dahmer 1934; see Jansen 2012 for related discussion), has been assumed for a sequence near Hombach, yielding a similar facies and fossil association."

Primary lithology:gray lithified muddy siltstone
Lithology description: Dark gray muddy siltstone
Environment:estuary/bay
Taphonomy
Modes of preservation:adpression
