Geography
Country:United States State/province:Alaska County:Prince of Wales
Coordinates: 55.8° North, 133.3° West (view map)
Paleocoordinates:15.6° South, 84.8° West
Basis of coordinate:stated in text
Geographic resolution:outcrop
Time
Period: Devonian Epoch: Early Devonian
Stage: Pragian 10 m.y. bin: Devonian 1
Key time interval: Pragian Conodont zone:  Eognathodus sulcatus sulcatus
Age range of interval: 410.8 - 407.6 m.y. ago
Stratigraphy
Formation:Karheen
Stratigraphic resolution:group of beds
Stratigraphy comments: Savage (1977) found conodonts.

Has been put in Karheen formation, but that should be restricted to the Late Silurian; Blodget et al (2010) note that it is very similar to Soda Creek.
Lithology and environment
Primary lithology: silty "limestone"
Lithology description: limestone, shaly limestone and shale.
Environment:reef, buildup or bioherm
Geology comments: Allocthonous deposits. General geological setting interpreted as island arc, in which shelly fossiliferous units represent carbonate banks and reefs. In some places these are associated with plant-bearing or graptolite-bearing shales.
Taphonomy
Modes of preservation:body
Size of fossils:macrofossils
