The left branch of a lower jaw (MRAC 1957_sn15_01, Figure 6d–g) from site 15 (see figure 2 in Yasui, Kunimatsu, et al., 1992; and figure 3 in Makinouchi et al., 1992) of the Sinda-Mohari region. An articulated and relatively complete shell (SN- 419, figure 1 and plate 1 in Hirayama, 1992) from site 3 (see figure 2 in Yasui, Kunimatsu, et al., 1992; and figure 3 in Makinouchi et al., 1992) of the Sinda-Mohari region. An articulated and relatively complete shell (SN- 605, figure 2 and plate 2 in Hirayama, 1992) from site 11 (see figure 2 in Yasui, Kunimatsu, et al., 1992; and figure 3 in Makinouchi et al., 1992) of the Sinda-Mohari region. All of them from the early Zanclean (Early Pliocene), the site 11 corresponding to the lower member of the Sinda beds, the site 3 to the middle member, and the site 15 to the upper member (Makinouchi et al., 1992; Werdelin, 2010)
