When: Gredleri ammonoid zone, Fassanian (242.0 - 235.0 Ma)

• Ammonoids were collected in the interval from 5-15 meters above the main "pietra verde" bed. Ammonoids suggest a possible age between the Gredleri and Archelaus zone, but belongs to the Ladinian conodont hungaricus zone, excluding the Archelaus zone. Using the traditional boundary between Lower and Upper Ladinian (between Gredleri and Archelaus/Meginae zones), this is Early Ladinian.
