| Stratigraphy comments: "Unteroligozän, Latdorf, NP 21" (lower Oligocene, Latdorfian) - NP21 spans the very late Eocene and early Oligocene but Latdorfian is currently counted as part of the Rupelian. There seem to be multiple horizons of the Schönecker fish shales, which seems to lead to confusion in age of the overall locality in the literature. |
