Stratigraphy comments: Horizon IIIa. Lower part of Upper Yezo Group, upper Neogyliakian (partially Upper Turonian). Member IIIa (lower part of the Haborogawa Formation) contains the ammonoids Subprionocyclus neptuni and S. normalis, the bivalves Inoceramus tenuistriatus and I. teshioensis, therefore this fossil is certainly from the Upper Turonian.
