| Stratigraphy comments: Found in a dark gray sandy silty nodule and retains a white-colored shell wall. Based on this fact, Matsumoto (1963, p. 46) suggested that this specimen came from the upper Turonian sandy siltstone beds that are exposed in the lower stream of the Pombetsu River. | |||||
