Where: New South Wales, Australia (34.4° S, 150.9° E: paleocoordinates 67.5° S, 141.7° E)

When: Coal Cliff Sandstone Formation (Narrabeen Group), Induan (252.2 - 251.2 Ma)

• "Tracks occur 25-50 cm above the top of the uppermost coal, the Bulli Coal, of the Illawarra Coal Measures, and hence from the lower Coal Cliff Sandstone of the Narrabeen Group." An earliest Triassic (Induan) is supported based on isotopic and radiometric data.

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: terrestrial; shale and siltstone

• "interlaminated shale and ripple-marked siltstone". Tracks are preserved in the shale.
