• Conformably overlying an early Cenomanian rudist association

Environment/lithology: deep subtidal; lithified, muddy limestone

• This outcrop is located in the eastern side of the Agri Valley, at the eastern side of the Agri Valley, at the easternmost part of the Mesozoic Apennine chain. Thickness of nearly 100 m.
• In the upper part of the succession some pelagic beds with muddy limestone with planctonic organisms indicate a pelagic influx.
