• Upper Pliensbachian, 4.5 to 7.5 m (15-25 ft) below top of Suplee Formation (Imlay, 1968)

Environment/lithology: marine; gray limestone and calcareous sandstone

• The Suplee Formation of Lupher (1941) consists of gray granular limestone and calcareous sandstone, weathers light brown, ranges from 30 to 150 feet in thickness.
