Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; lithified packstone and lithified wackestone

• The paleoenvironment of the Dundee Formation was a shallow, tropical, high-energy shelf with intervals of decreased energy and occasional storm events.
• The lower unit 10 is a packstone, grading upward into the wackestone of unit 11, transitioning into the nodular-bedded unit 12 grainstone.
