Where: Gotland, Sweden (57.3° N, 18.6° E: paleocoordinates 21.8° S, 2.6° W)
When: Monograptus flexilis conodont zone, G Member (Slite Formation), Sheinwoodian (433.4 - 430.5 Ma)
• from a core. Monograptus flexilis = Monograptus belophorus zone. Kochella walliseri zone.
• bed-level stratigraphic resolution
Size classes: mesofossils, microfossils
Collection methods: The slightly calcareous sample (0.1423 kg) was broken down by the petroleum ether/kerosene method (Jeppsson & Anehus 1999: 58). In addition to Jinonicella, the residue included graptolites, conodonts and a pyritised small brachiopod(?). The fraction above 1 mm yielded fragments of an odontopleurid trilobite (pers. comm. Per Ahlberg).
