Where: Mongolia, China (39.7° N, 106.8° E: paleocoordinates 16.7° S, 126.0° E)

When: Baltoniodus triangularis - Baltoniodus navis conodont zone, Upper Member (Sandaokan Formation), Floian to Floian (477.7 - 467.3 Ma)

• Upper part of formation. Xu et al. (2015) put the whole formation at Xinchang - Yiyang (Tremadoc-Floian) in age.

• formation-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: open shallow subtidal; dolomitic limestone and quartzose sandstone
