Where: Italy (44.4° N, 8.2° E: paleocoordinates 42.7° N, 7.0° E)

When: Molare Formation, Chattian (28.1 - 23.0 Ma)

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: reef, buildup or bioherm; poorly lithified conglomerate and lithified floatstone

• coarse to medium conglomerate grading upwards to coral floatstone. Total thickness 2 m. The conglomerate is poorly cemented and normally graded (calsts up to 50 cm in diameter at the bottom dn up to 2 cm at the top. Pebbles with lithodomous borings.
