Costatoaphanaia aenigma
Taxonomy
Maitaia aenigma was named by Astafieva (1989). Its type specimen is Kazan University 551/274 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Allara-Khadirniya River, Tumara Basin, Tumara Svita, Western Verkhoyan, which is in a Kungurian marine horizon in the Tumara Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Costatoaphanaia aenigma by Biakov (2008).
