Taxonomy
Halobia septentrionalis was named by Smith (1927). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 10196, Keku Islet 1 (upper Carnian-lower Norian beds), which is in a Tuvalian/Lacian marine horizon in Alaska.
