Notoberyx cionei
Taxonomy
Notoberyx cionei was named by Schwarzhans et al. (2017). Its type specimen is NRM-PZ P.15987, an otolith, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is IAA 2/95, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial horizon in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica. It is the type species of Notoberyx.
