Taxonomy
Promysidiella desatoyensis was named by Waller and Stanley (2005). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bed SC20, South Canyon, New Pass Range, which is in a Longobardian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Augusta Formation of Nevada.
