Taxonomy
Halobia thisbitis was named by Kittl (1912). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vorderen Sandling, lens with Thisbites agricolae, which is in a Tuvalian carbonate limestone in the Halstatt Formation of Austria.
