It was assigned to Dsungaripteroidea by Lü and Zhang (2005); to Chaoyangopteridae by Lü et al. (2008); to Azhdarchoidea by Andres et al. (2014); and to Tapejaridae by Andres and Ji (2008) and Headden and Campos (2014).
