Where: Queensland, Australia (20.6° S, 147.6° E: paleocoordinates 55.8° S, 139.7° E)
• coordinate based on nearby landmark
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Pseudostrophalosia ingelarensis brachiopod zone, Blenheim Formation, Wuchiapingian (259.9 - 254.2 Ma)
• Presence of Terrakea elongata suggests an age within the P. clarkei, P. ingelarensis, or possibly P. crassa zone (and the pelicanensis bed is thought to be equivalent of the P. ingelarensis zone), correlated with the upper part of APP4.3 palynomorph zone (Briggs, 1998). The APP4.3 zone was constrained as mid-Wuchiapingian age by U-Pb dating in Laurie et al. (2016).
• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution
Environment/lithology: coastal; lithified siliciclastic sediments
Size class: macrofossils
Preservation: mold/impression
