Where: Tasmania, Australia (43.0° S, 147.9° E: paleocoordinates 78.6° S, 163.3° E)
• coordinate based on nearby landmark
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Malbina Formation, Wordian (266.9 - 264.3 Ma)
• Assigned to the Echinalosia hanloni/robusta zone by Briggs (1998), in the basal part of the APP4.2 palynomorph zone. Laurie et al. (2016) placed the base of APP4.2 at 266.8 Ma, coincident with the base of the Wordian (266.9 Ma in Wu et al., 2020), so a Wordian age is assigned to these collections.
• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution
