• Holotype of Eosuchus minor of uncertain derivation; as catalogued, it is from the Manasquan Formation, New Jersey (Early Eocene/ Ypresian); but it may actually derive from the Vincentown Formation, New Jersey (Late Paleocene/Thanetian) (Brochu 2006). Orig. described as "Eocene greensand."
