Where: Austria (46.6° N, 13.3° E: paleocoordinates 7.9° S, 25.0° E)
• coordinate based on nearby landmark
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Zweikofel Formation, Sakmarian (293.5 - 290.1 Ma)
• Schellwien used "Trogkofel" in the sense of Geyer's earlier work, which includes strata now in the Trogkofel Fm. (sensu stricto) and Zweikofel Fm. ("Upper Pseudoschwagerina Limestone"). Most brachiopods apparently come from bedded limestone in the Zweikofel Formation, of mainly Sakmarian (to early Artinskian) age.
