Environment/lithology: marine; shelly/skeletal, gray, yellow limestone and shelly/skeletal lime mudstone

• "This expressively shallow-water facies is distributed in [details] i.e. in the area of older volcanic elevations, where the limestones of Pridolian age rest unconformably on volcanic rocks of Wenlockian to Ludlovian ages, reflecting thus the effect of the Basal Pridolian Transgressive Event. Generally BA 3 up to 2."
• "Light biodetrital and biomicritic limestones with crinoid debris and usually common brachiopods contain only locally frequent trilobites...The lithofacies is marked by light grey, yellow or pink thick bedded and mostly biodetrital limestones, frequently dolomitized. Subordinate irregular layers and lenses of fossil-rick biomicrites locally yielded rich faunas with generally fragmented trilobites..."
