• The Chepe site is in the

•uppermost Las Lajas Member (of Takai et al., 1992) of the Villavieja Formation. The Las Lajas Member of Takai et al. (1992) is equivalent to the upper part of the Baraya Member of Guerrero (1997) and Villarroel et al. (1996).

•The Baraya Member is overlain by the Cerro Colorado Member.
