• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the San Adrian Mbr of the Alba Fm, which is overlain by the Barcaliente or Cuevas fms. The Cantabrian Alba Formation is correlated with nodular limestones of the Aspe-Brousset Formation in the Pyrenees (Perret 1993; Sanz-Lopez 2002). AGE: Arnsbergian, on the basis of conodont biostratigraphy; Lochriea nodosa conodont zone.
