Environment/lithology: fine-grained, gray, argillaceous limestone

• Limestone, light-gray, very fine-grained, argillaceous, dense, thin-bedded, wavy-bedded, moderately indurated, with many 5- to 7-cm greenish-gray to tan shale partings, with many brachiopods, bryozoans, and echinoderms, especially a crinoid colony about 1.83 m below top (see Fig. 105), with 34 crinoids, 26 Kirkocystis, some rhombiferan cystoids, 4 edrioasteroids, and many stems, with 2 starfish 2.44 m below top, and a Diabolocrinus zone at base 39.
