• Kerber et al. 2016: Available numerical ages from Toca do Serrote das Moendas include 14C on mollusks (24,210 +/- 150 and 26,970 +/- 140 years BP), optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) (13,000 +/- 3,000 years BP) and electron spin resonance on mammal teeth (Blastocerus) (22,000 +/- 2,000 and 23,000 +/- 2,000 years BP) (Guidon et al. 2009), corresponding to the late Pleistocene.
